Create a cardboard stencil of a face with ears, trace face on colored paper (I found multicultural colored paper), have your students cut out their faces and crumble it up to make winkles, then have them use cotton balls to pull apart to glue on a hair, beard, facial hair, ear hair. Then they can draw their face on it and begin to write! So funny to see what the kids say!
